Senior Domestic Energy Assessor

Main purpose of role: Carry out multiple property visits each day, delivering accurate Energy Performance Certificates to enable properties to be marketed quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Guidance to Property Management hubs regarding improvements to portfolio properties regarding MEES legislation.
• Be able to train and support new energy assessors starting their career with the team through either Elmhurst or Quidos.
• Carry out domestic Energy Performance Certificates in line with current legislation, accreditation body requirements and industry standards.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of EPC legislation, building regulations and energy efficiency standards.
• Support our in house support team with queries and improvement requests. 

• Level 3 DEA qualification and a clean DBS check.
• At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience with strong knowledge of DEA conventions.
• Smart, professional and reliable.
• Highly organised with excellent time-management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of the London area.
• Willing to travel across Central London (travel costs covered).
• Full UK driving licence and own car required.
• Management experience (desirable).
• Construction and/or commercial EPC qualifications (desirable).
